Scam in Bromo Mountain Hi readers, i got so many bad comments about travellers who did Bromo trip. i want you to be aware of the scams if you have plan to visit there, well i could say the trip is worthed, but still you must be careful during your trip. I post some feedbacks from my guest when they had in Bromo mountain. you can read below: This is a letter from my guest (Oli and Lina) who got scammed during their trip from Bromo to Denpasar with the bus. Many people say that we should be careful during our trip to/from Bromo mountain, usually because the bus or mini van doesn't give you a ticket and no exact price how much ticket from Probolinggo - Bromo - Denpasar, also many tour agent will offer you with many different price and package that make you dizzy. This is too bad, because many people love to visit Bromo and some locals depend their life on tourism. It seemed that local government doen't do anything to make some regulation to arrange proper public transport...

Dieng Plateu is Worth to Visit! We visit Dieng plateu on November,actually it was a rainy season already, but we tried to go there very early from Jogjakarta,at 5 am. Arrived at wonosobo on 7.30 am, 2.5 hours trip from Jogja, we had breakfast at Joglo Resto, it nice restorant with view toward mountain sumbing,we love it already. We still have continue 45 minute (depend on trafic) to Telaga Warna (Color Lake) first, the road is stiff but luckily we drove with 4 wheel drive car. at the entrance gate of Dieng Plateu we bought ticket fee IDR 4000/person, and then nearby to Telaga warna we have to buy entrance ticket for 3 places (IDR 25.000/person - local or foreigner is same price) : Dieng theathre, Sikidang creater and Arjuna temple. actually the ticket entrance is quite cheap...I would suggest to visit Dieng theathre first, it's a place on the top of the hill to see the color lake from above, we still have to pay 5.000 for local and 10.000 for foreigner, the scenery is very bea...

Trip to Bromo Crater Traveling Mount Bromo from Jogja could be little bit tricky for some people especially tourists because they never know how far Bromo from jogja is and how many times we have to jump from one train or Tour. Since gare station "Malang" i took like a tuk tuk for 35 000 roupie for to go a bus station. After we took a bus for to go at Probollingo we payed 50 000 roupie for 2 but i think it cots less. Arrival at Probolingo we took a mini van for 100 000 roupie for 2 it is expensive because this mini van wasn't full but the normal price is 30 000 roupie by person . Arrival at bromo we looked for a room we found a room for 125 000 roupie close to Mount Bro...
